Programmes are designed with the people they serve, reflecting the specific goals, cultures, and economic realities of each community. They are co-created with communities and customised for grassroots collectives, universities, NGOs, and entrepreneur support organisations. We apply train-the-trainer models to empower local leaders and expand long-term reach. By building language, business, and technical skills in a values-driven context, the Academy helps individuals and communities lead resilient businesses and initiatives that create lasting change. Our reach spans five African countries, and includes projects with ocean-focused NGOs across Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar, and South Africa.

We prioritise ventures that integrate sustainability, mental wellbeing, and social equity. We also co-develop programmes with our grantees to ensure relevance and co-ownership. Through our business development portfolio and the Adora Earth Fund, we provide early-stage incubation, investment-readiness support, and capital to underrepresented founders building regenerative solutions. In 2024 and 2025 alone, we catalysed the growth of over 1,500 women and youth entrepreneurs, generating 280 new jobs. The Fund is especially invested in businesses and organisations addressing the intersections of environmental sustainability, mental well-being, and social equity. We work with projects that are scalable, locally relevant, and designed for long-term sustainability.

The Hub builds pathways between research and decision-making. We engage with institutions, communities, and movements to ensure knowledge leads to action, and that those most affected, help shape the solutions.

We are the South African Coordinator for the Inner Development Goals, certified Trauma and Climate Healing facilitator (Australia) and have led trauma-informed interventions in post-conflict communities in Northern Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya.
